This course is the first Arabic course which explain in details, How are the Android Spywares developed and How can we catch them.

In this course series, we will discuss the vulnerabilities of the android application layer and we will demonstrate two

android applications, one for the disease and the other for the medication , The first one is a spyware application ”Disease” which resulted in a set of vulnerabilities in the Android operating system, and we will demonstrate how this can be built to abuse these vulnerabilities for intercepting victim cell phone Contacts, IMSI, Internet History, SMS, Call
Logs and Location. The application will be installed as a third party of a legal application or through an internet URL
or physically installed to the victim cell phone and it will be hidden from the launcher icons. The
permission subsystem, the broadcast receiver subsystem, and the message-sending mechanism contribute to forming a haven for our spyware by granting them absolute control to listen, intercept and track the victim privacy. The second one is the anti-spyware application ”medication” which implemented in order to mitigate the risks of such attacks and can view and clarify the whole applications that interested in the SMS, Call logs, or Location and give the user the ability to block and uninstall the unwanted applications like our spyware one.
The spyware application was tested on a Variety of android devices with different OS and it successfully passed standard antivirus applications that claim to catch malware.
